Outreach & Literacy: Socio-Environment Literacy
You are invited to share ideas on how to establish an ecological education park especially for children in the community in order to enhance the knowledge of conservation of the environment and natural resources. The camp intends to establish the park on the 51 acres of the natural environment in which the camp operates.
The aim is to use the park as a model for environment and development. The staring point would be to establish an inventory of the resources in the area and to prepare a management plan for the area followed by recommendations for good environmental practices for community socio-economic development. Some practices such as use of renewable energy sources and support to the community are already in place.
